I think BHG got the mix somewhere close to right for barrack troops attacking stats after a couple of tweaks. I quite like the challenge of coming up with a defence against these different attacking options that are currently available. There is no need to make wholesale changes. I do like Server's suggestion of having a war only branch in the library, maybe starting at Information Age. The question here is do I think defence needs a tweak, yes I do however, it is only a tweak. Well I have read some interesting points in the above 4 pages of posts and some players responses that don't seem to take other players opinions fairly. ![]() Wars are boring most of the time due to offense being op and mismatches And I'm not in one of those spend to win teams. That is why I've switched from defense to offense. Offense is much stronger than defense in domi. So, this is from a week 1 player who is above average in base builder games. That means that bhg can fine tune offense and defense in wars without impacting mp attacks as much. I am glad that there's an mp museum and a war museum. That is very indicative that defense is not holding. Even in some "close" wars, both sides are over 90% cleared. In time wars, both sides completely clear the other. One side almost always completely clears the other. One of the prime indicators for offense vs defense is stars in wars. (Fyi you can't cause I've done the math already). Offense may cost more per war if you're a spender, but that pales in comparison to the costs to max your defenses. They refuse to reduce time and resource costs for any of the lower ages.įyi, it's actually much more expensive to create a max defense base than to create a max offense base. They add offense without adequate defense countermeasures. They nerfed the house spawners and aren't acknowledging proof of it. The reason for this? Bhg has demonstrated through action that it doesn't care about defenders. My museum is hybrid and on its way to full offense. Especially in wars.It isn't just top ranked teams. Lastly, you are giving a lot of importance (protection) to mortars - they don’t matter. Your castle and command post are important. Your anti tank guns are seriously under developed for your age. I can come in from the right where you have farms and go directly for the TC. it’s very easy right now - even directly taking the TC. This about making it difficult to get a QV. If you get attacked with this layout your troop spawning buildings can be taken out within the first few seconds - than it’s very easy with a couple of commandos. I’d also bring in my troop spawning buildings and air defense. Unless of course you get attacked by a lvl 160+ player who can deploy one zook :-) And use the oil refinery at a corner - it has high HP so helps save the last star at time. Take every type of resource building outside. I’d not use this feedback for multiplayer. Looks like a war base since you have the TC in the center.
